A player typically doesn't introduce you to their friends and family or they introduce you as a friend. If he cannot manage to call you his girlfriend or at least refer to you as "sweetie" or "honey" in public, the warning bells should be ringing.

In many cases, there is a large section of their life you know nothing about. Players do not share personal information about themselves. In fact, they do not care about you enough to tell you anything personal. To them, you are nothing more than a convenient booty call. While you may be trying to talk yourself out of the fact that he is a player, these signs are clear and obvious. If he truly is interested in you, the last thing he will do is cancel your first date and he will be more than willing to share personal stories with you.

If they can't be contacted for periods of time or if you can't look at their phone, this is another sign that you are dating a player. Unless he has a good excuse such as a death in the family, chances are he was with someone else. Even if he tries to claim that he was out of town for business, it takes only a few seconds to send a quick text message to let you know. Do not be fooled into thinking you are special if he displays any of these signs. It is up to you to drop him like a bad habit and move on to better things.
